A machine idle after a no-show
A reformer booked for fifty-five minutes and left empty is a cost you cannot win back. A late cancel takes the whole hour.
Fairbooked
Your studio is a reformer or two and a mat room. One client at a time means a single missed slot leaves a machine idle.

Springs, straps and a clean mat take five or ten minutes. Back-to-back booking means a rushed reset or a late start.
Most Pilates tools assume a timetable of group classes. In a private practice, you pay for a feature you never use.
Fairbooked books one client with one instructor at a time. That is exactly a private session. Group classes are coming.
Give a private session its fifty-five minutes and a buffer to reset the machine. The next client sees a slot only when you are ready.
Set the hours of notice you need, and a no-show fee once Stripe is connected. Clients see the policy at booking.

Fresha lists 20% on a new marketplace client's first booking (minimum CA$6): CA$22.00. We take 0%. For an in-person card Fresha lists 2.29% + CA$0.20, Interac included: CA$2.72. A Stripe Interac tap is CA$0.15. The calculator below opens on 60 card visits a month and one person; change any number to match yours.
Put in your own numbers. We work out Fresha's monthly bill from its published prices, and ours as Stripe's card rates plus our flat monthly price, and show every line of both. The figures start on an example private pilates instructor.
You would keep
CA$722 a year
That is CA$60.18 a month, 30.8% less than Fresha.
Rates as of September 2026. Fresha can change its prices. With us means Stripe's published Canadian card rates, paid to Stripe, plus our CA$29 a month. Card reader optional for deposits and no-show fees. For in-person tap checkout, Stripe readers from about CA$79 (Bluetooth) or CA$419 (countertop, S700).
Savings = Fresha's total minus ours = CA$60.18 a month, times 12 = CA$722.16 a year. We assume 85% of card volume is taken in person and the rest online, that 45% of it is Interac debit in person at CA$0.15 a tap, and that the number of payments is card volume divided by your average ticket.
