Three kinds of session a week
Studio, online and home sessions need different times and prices. Without separate services, you re-quote in messages and lose track of where to be.
Fairbooked
You teach privates in a studio, on video and in living rooms. Your booking tool should cope with all three.
Studio, online and home sessions need different times and prices. Without separate services, you re-quote in messages and lose track of where to be.
A home session means a trip each way, and the diary does not know. Without a gap, you cut one session short.
Most yoga tools are built around a timetable of classes. If you teach privates, you ignore half of what you pay for.
Set each with its own length and price, and a buffer after home visits for travel. The calendar blocks the right time.
Clients pick an open time on their phone and get a reminder by email or text. Send the video link in your own message.
A private practice is not high volume. We take 0% of every booking, and one flat price stays the same however many sessions you teach.
An example only. Every name, length and price here is a placeholder you change or delete when you set up your own list.
Fresha lists 20% on a new marketplace client's first booking (minimum CA$6): CA$18.00. We take 0%. For an in-person card Fresha lists 2.29% + CA$0.20, Interac included: CA$2.26. A Stripe Interac tap is CA$0.15. The calculator below opens on 50 card visits a month and one person; change any number to match yours.
Put in your own numbers. We work out Fresha's monthly bill from its published prices, and ours as Stripe's card rates plus our flat monthly price, and show every line of both. The figures start on an example private yoga instructor.
You would keep
CA$511 a year
That is CA$42.56 a month, 29.1% less than Fresha.
Rates as of September 2026. Fresha can change its prices. With us means Stripe's published Canadian card rates, paid to Stripe, plus our CA$29 a month. Card reader optional for deposits and no-show fees. For in-person tap checkout, Stripe readers from about CA$79 (Bluetooth) or CA$419 (countertop, S700).
Savings = Fresha's total minus ours = CA$42.56 a month, times 12 = CA$510.72 a year. We assume 85% of card volume is taken in person and the rest online, that 45% of it is Interac debit in person at CA$0.15 a tap, and that the number of payments is card volume divided by your average ticket.
